I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “Time is Money,” and that’s because it is.

We all use time in order to make money, but some of us make it a little harder than we should and use way too much time to make money.

As an online entrepreneur, I love everything about making money online.

I’ve been doing it for 10+ years now and wouldn’t change it for any other job.

I get to spend more time with my family, and the income potential is definitely up there.

So, if you are still on the fence about this whole online thing, let me show you several ways that you can make use of your time and make a decent living.

Your time is something you will never get back, so figure it out now, and you can live a life most will only dream of.

5 Valuable Ideas on How to Make Use of Your Time and Make Money Online 3

Just hearing that excites me.

It reminded me of when I started my first home-based business and how far I’ve come within the last ten years.

I started with network marketing, then I ran a bar (bad idea) and finally found myself trying to make things work on this thing called the internet.

What a journey it was, but it reminded me of how important my time really is.

The bar, of course, took most of my time, and network marketing was just a headache.

Not to say I don’t like it, but it didn’t work for me, even if I tried to do Melaleuca twice.

I know it’s pretty embarrassing, but I’m so glad I did.

Without all this experience, I wouldn’t be able to tell you what works, especially with what we are about to get into next.

Making money online.

Okay, I got a bit carried away there, so let’s jump right into things, so you can see exactly how you can make more money with the little time you have.

1. Niche Websites

What are you interested in?

What are your hobbies?

Think of something you are at least interested in, and you can build a whole business around it.

I used to talk about the idea of blogging, but I think that deters people from what the business is really about.

So, I consider this niche marketing instead.

How it’s done:

You will build a simple website with simple articles on the niche of your choice.

With those simple articles, you will utilize the traffic from search engines like Google and Bing through search engine optimization (SEO) efforts.

From there, you will monetize your site with advertising, affiliate offers, sponsorships, or all of the above.

It’s what I recommend to anyone getting started, and it’s what I still do myself.

Jon Dykstra has a really awesome course called the Fat Stacks Bundle.

He shows you how to build niche websites, mainly monetizing them with ads.

I follow his methods, especially with the fact that he has one single site that banks over $50k/month.

Yup, that’s fifty thousand dollars in a single month.

2. Design Websites

There are a kazillion people trying to make money blogging or doing whatever with a website, but not many know how to do it.

Regardless of how simple it is (because you just need to click), they still can’t get it looking the way a “real” website should.

And that’s okay.

I used to be there, and with countless hours, days, months, and years put into it, I can finally build amazing-looking websites.

Through that journey, I am now able to use it to make money.

And, with over $1k a pop, I’m sure you can see the potential that comes with building websites.

If you are in any of the following scenarios and are interested in getting a good website for yourself (website development and/or hosting), please contact me and let’s talk:

  • You’re not tech-savvy enough.
  • You want to spend most of your time only on the business side.
  • You don’t have time to learn how to build a website (remember that Time is Money).

3. Flip Domains

Before any website building happens, you need to come up with a sweet name that you can be proud of.

The problem?

Those darn things aren’t easy to find!

Domains are purchased every single day, and most of them are bought by people that flip them for a living.

It sucks, but that’s just how this crazy online world works.

So, this leaves an opportunity for people like yourself looking to make money online.

Buy a .com for $15 bucks and sell it for $1k.

That’s one heck of an investment and can be very lucrative if you can do that a few times a month.

4. Affiliate Marketing

I love the idea of selling other people’s products, all while earning a commission.

It’s how stores make their money, and that’s how they’re able to make money.

In the online world, it’s possible through what is called affiliate marketing.

It’s like a physical store, without having to have an actual store, purchase any inventory, or pay for any overhead costs.

It’s a really simple and amazing business model that most know nothing about, and a way to make use of your time wisely.

This is what can be done with a niche website, but it can also be done without one.

I do recommend you own a website, but some partners will allow you to promote their products on social media.

For affiliate marketing, I always recommend courses like Authority Hacker or Wealthy Affiliate.

Rather than creating small websites, these guys teach you how to build monster websites that can bring in lots of money.

5. Social Media Influencer

You see them all over the place.

Whether they have a full-on YouTube Channel or they’re making short clips on TikTok, influencers are all over the place.

And we all know that the more followers and views these influencers have, the more money they make.

But how?

Very much like a niche website, you will be monetizing your followers and views through advertising.

Then, you can always throw some affiliate links out there and make money promoting different products.

Become an influencer, and you can make use of your time intelligently, all while making more money.

Conclusion – Make Use of your Time

Time is Money, Don’t Waste it!

We all have the same amount of time, but we all use it differently.

Most of us spend eight of those hours at a job, and that’s fine.

However, I don’t think you should stick with your job, especially if you’re overworked and underpaid.

There are many opportunities out there, and the internet holds some of them.

I hope this article has helped you see the true potential the internet has to offer, regardless of what you decide to do.
