Course From Scratch Review: Danielle Leslie Scam?

By John Cruz

Last Updated:

Welcome to my Course From Scratch review.

I’m sure you’re wondering if this is going to make you the type of money you see or if this is probably just another scam program trying to take your hard-earned money.

That’s normal, and I’m glad you did your research.

Too many people get on the internet, join something, and eventually lose the little they have.

Then they go blaming others, or even worse, go thinking that everything is a scam.

Don’t be that person.

Not everything online is a scam (although there are a lot), and there are several legit ways to make money online.

Now some might be legit but could be a big waste of time and even more waste of money.

So before you go spending the not so affordable price tag on Course From Scratch, let me show you what it is that you are about to join.

At the very least, it’s great to see that you are interested in making money in a not-so-traditional setting.

Creating courses is one of the better ways to make money on the internet, and that is precisely what Course From Scratch teaches. With its hefty price tag, it’s only smarter to do your research just like you did. Thankfully so, this review will give you a better understanding of what you are about to join.

What is Course From Scratch?

course from scratch review

Course From Scratch is an 8-week course that will show you how to create and launch your very own course.

The course was created by Danielle Leslie, who has also made her courses that do not include Course From Scratch.

If that was the case, and this was the course, I would not even go this far with a review.

But that’s not the issue here, as she has created a course back in 2012 called “Press Play.”

This course ran for $1,000, but I don’t know what it entailed.

She also did some coaching on Udemy, which is an actual platform that allows you to build and host your online courses.

Now with Course From Scratch, you get to join for free and get a sneak peek at what you will be doing.

Not many courses offer any kind of free access, but if they do, it’s usually asking you to pay just as fast as you signed up.

But what does free mean, and what could you get for the premium price?

What You Get

course from scratch overview

It is actually free to get started with Course From Scratch.

Course From Scratch comes with, of course, the training but a lot of insight on what online courses are and how you should go about creating them.

I mean, with over 6 million Americans pursuing an online education, it makes you see where things are headed.

Now from an entrepreneur’s perspective, you can see the true potential of what an online course has.

It might not be visible to you just yet, but with more learning, you will see the bigger picture.

For me, I have always thought about creating my course, but I couldn’t seem to figure out where to get started.

I watched all kinds of training videos on YouTube and read a ton of blog posts, but nothing seemed to give me that push.

Mind you, I learned to make money blogging in 2014 and have been earning a full-time income ever since.

Within that timeframe, I’ve helped thousands of other online entrepreneurs do the same.

The problem?

I was extraordinarily underpaid, and I was trading way too much time for pennies.

Not to mention the fact that I repeated myself over and over again about the same methods and strategies I’ve used to create a successful blog.

So what did I do?

Only now am I trying to do something bigger and better, and Course From Scratch just so happens to be one of my options.

Who This is For

who course from scratch is for

I know it seems as this is for anyone looking to make money online, but that’s far from true.

Course From Scratch is for anyone serious about making money online and one that is most especially willing to take a risk.

It’s for those that understand what an investment is regarding money and time.

It’s for those that know that it is impossible to get rich-quick.

The same thing goes if you were going to start a blog.

Although a small investment, blogging requires more patience and just as much work.

Course From Scratch is an investment and one that will require you to learn and apply what you learned.

Other reviews try to talk badly about this, so I figured I’d give you my reasons as to why I like this.

Course From Scratch is not for you if you don’t have the money to invest.

But more importantly, if you don’t have the time, please do not go throwing money away.

How much money might you ask?

Let’s just say you might need to pull out a small personal loan if you haven’t already spent your stimulus check.

The Price

pricing cfs

There comes a time when all the free stuff will come to an end.

You will then have to fork out some cash.

In the world of buying and being a consumer, pricing is probably everything.

When you see a low price, you automatically think generic and another waste of money.

Or, you can look at it as something worth trying with the idea that you have nothing to lose.

Now when you start seeing more zeros attached to these price tags, you see more value and more of an investment.

For a tiny percentage, they think that spending over a thousand dollars on some training is not necessary.

There are just so many ways to look at price points that it just becomes irritating.

If you want to get into the meat and taters of this course, it’s going to cost you $1,997.

You can opt for their monthly installment plan at $394/month but look to spend over $300, moreover six months.

These price points are great, in my opinion, but will probably be a bit out of reach for some of you.

Do remember that this is a business you will be building, and for a price like that, it’s peanuts compared to what you would spend with a brick and mortar business.

You will easily go over $5,000 on all the little things like insurance, attorneys, and financial advice alone.

Imagine what you will spend when you start paying for commercial space and utilities.

With something like Course From Scratch, you need to understand that you are going to start a real, legit business.

If you can’t see it that way, then hey, this might not be for you.

What I Liked

course from scratch pros

This is for someone who has something they want to teach others.

Whether it be how to start a home-based business or one of the many other topics that can be used, Course From Scratch has the training that will get you started.

I like that this is mainly for those that have something to teach but don’t think that this will only work if you have something in mind.

Course From Scratch is simple to understand and can work with any learning style.

If you do pay the full price, you get a call from Danielle to help with your game plan.

Upon learning how to create your course, you also get two months free from Teachable, the same place you will be setting up your online course.

After two months, you’ll be spending the full price of $99 every single month.

Almost $200 in savings is not a bad deal.

Then again, Course From Scratch is not the cheapest product on the market.

I guess I can jump right into the not so pretty side of Course From Scratch.

What I Didn’t Like

course from scratch cons

I could say that the price is a bit on the higher side of things, and it would be fine if you were almost guaranteed to make it back.

However, that’s where Course From Scratch falls short.

Having to cough up $2k is not an easy task, and it’s not cool when you won’t’ be getting the traffic to sell your course.

Course From Scratch can teach you how to create your course, but what good is it if you don’t know where to sell it?

Just like how you would monetize a website is how you would go about selling your course.

But, there isn’t any training on that?

That’s not cool in my book and can be the real deal-breaker here.

Maybe things will change?

I hope so as traffic is the life of any business, whether it be online or in the real world.

You can have the best product in the world but with no one to see it, what good is it?

Course From Scratch Review – Conclusion

Course From Scratch is a legit training platform that will show you how to create an online course.

I mean, look at what Danielle has to say in the little interview above.

It is not a scam and can work if you know a little more than the average bear.

I wouldn’t recommend this if you know absolutely nothing about the digital world and how money is made.

I know this thing looked awesome on Instagram, but now a decision needs to be made.

Is Course From Scratch going to work for you?

Do you have the experience of creating your very own course?

Ask yourself some simple questions, and I’m sure you can make a much wiser decision.

Well, that’s all from me for now until we meet again.

I hope this Course From Scratch review has served its purpose, and I hope that you can decide with the information I provided.

1 thought on “Course From Scratch Review: Danielle Leslie Scam?”

‘DANIELLE LESLIE’ called me at 10:08 pm just last night. That is violation of the TCPA (Telecommunications Privacy Act), which OUTLAWS telemarketing calls after 0900pm local time.

If ‘DANIELLE LESLIE’, is willing to violate FEDERAL LAW, then ‘she’ is a SCAMMER. And, so is her ‘husband’.
